On August 30, 2011, Guodian United Power Technology (Yixing) Co., Ltd. holds a technical assessment meeting on the 6MW offshore DFIG.

After listening to the detailed reports of the design proposal and calculation analysis, the technical experts conduct questioning and probing on the plausibility of the electromagnetic plan, the structure plan, and the insulation structure, as well as the operation stability of the grid in special conditions. After careful evaluation and discussion, the expert panel approves the design proposal of the 6MW offshore DFIG, and puts forward opinions and corresponding suggestions.

The success of the technical assessment meeting on the 6MW offshore DFIG technology marks a further improvement of United Power(Yixing subsidiary) in its independent R&D capacity, signifies a new major achievement for United Power in WTG design and manufacture, and contributes to realizing the objectives of new energy development strategy of Guodian group.
