Based on the demand of the market, Guodian United Power 3 MW wind turbine would be developed into 3 different type models according to the power generating form, namely DFIG, permanent magnet direct drive generator and grid friendly generator . The prototype of double-fed induction generator wind turbine was accomplished the full function testing in Lianyungang manufacturing base and delivered to Zhangbei project in Hebei province for site testing. The permanent magnet direct drive and grid friendly machine plan to start to site test this year either. Except the 3 MW Wind Turbine, United Power put the 6 MW wind turbine systems R&D into our 12th 5 years plan, and it is expected the full function testing of the prototype could be accomplished in the end of this year. To pursue the highest and the most reliable wind power technology for next generation, the 10 to 12 MW high temperature superconducting wind turbine systems is under United Power Research & Development schedule.
